Spicy Teriyaki cauliflower Nuggets

Prep Time: 15 min // Cook Time: 15 min // Total: 30 min // Serving: 18 Florets


Ingredients:

  • 18 cauliflower florets

  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs

  • ½ cup flour for coating

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons water

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil 

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce

  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey

  • ½ tablespoon diced garlic

Instructions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees

  2. Panko breadcrumbs:

    In a nonstick pan, toast Panko bread crumbs until lightly brown

    Transfer the toasted Panko bread crumbs in a shallow bowl and let it cool

  3. Spicy Teriyaki Honey sauce:

    Combine egg, water, sesame oil, soy sauce, sriracha sauce and honey in a bowl, mix well

  4. Coat the cauliflower florets with the spicy teriyaki honey sauce

  5. Place ½ cup flour into a bag

  6. Take out the cauliflower florets and place them in a zip lock bag (save the sauce) and coat them well with the flour

  7. Mix the flour coated cauliflower florets with the remaining spicy teriyaki honey sauce again

  8. Press each cauliflower florets firmly into the toasted panko

  9. Place panko coated cauliflower florets onto a baking sheet

  10. Bake for 5 minutes at 425 degress

  11. Broil for 10 minutes

  12. Serve immediately
