Edamame honey Sesame Sticks

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup frozen edamame, shelled

  • ½ cup hot water

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 3 tablespoons honey

  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Pre heat the oven to 375 degrees

  2. Soak frozen edamame in ½ cup of hot tap water

  3. Peel off the outer layer skin of edamame and split edamame in halves by rubbing them between your thumb and index finger

  4. Pat the skinned edamame dry

  5. Grind the edamame in a food processor until it becomes a very fine consistency

  6. Mix ground edamame, flour, oil, honey and sesame seeds in a bowl to form a dough

  7. Place the edamame dough on a parchment sheet and cut the dough into 8 even pieces

  8. Roll each piece of dough into an eight-inch-long stick

  9. Place the stick shaped dough onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet

  10. Bake at 375 degree for 8 minutes in the oven on the lower shelf, then flip the sticks to the opposite side and bake for another 4 minutes or until golden brown

  11. Place the sticks on a cooling rack until completely cool before eating
