Frozen Banana beverages


 
 

Frozen banana is not just for making “ice cream”.
It is also great for making refreshing beverages like: frozen banana yogurt shake, tropical cooler and strawberry banana mocktails. All these drinks are easy to make and require minimal ingredients without additional sugar. Best of all, all the ingredients are interchangeable. The frozen banana yogurt shake can easily be turned into frozen banana strawberry yogurt shake. The secret is to freeze those over ripe bananas to get that creaminess and sweetness. You can definitely serve these drinks with confidence and pride to anyone, at any time.


 

Ingredients:

Frozen Banana Yogurt Shake:

  • 1 cup frozen banana (~ 2 medium bananas)

  • 1 cup plain nonfat plain Greek Yogurt

  • 1/3 cup ice cubes

Tropical Cooler:

  • 1 cup frozen banana (~ 1 medium banana)

  • 1 – 8oz can pineapple chunks packed in 100% juice

  • 2 – 12 oz cans of sparking water

Strawberry Banana Mocktail:

  • 1 cup frozen banana (~ 1 medium banana)

  • 1 cup whole strawberries

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

  • ¼ teaspoon sugar

  • 2/3 cup ice cubes

  • 1/3 cup ice cold water

Instructions:

Frozen Banana Yogurt Shake:

1.     Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth

Tropical Cooler:

1.     Place frozen bananas and pineapples including the juice in a blender until smooth 2.      Add the sparkling water and mix well

Strawberry Banana Mocktail:

1.     Blend everything in a blender until smooth
