Mixed Seeds Breakfast Bars

Ingredients:

Mixed Seeds Paste:

  • 1 cup Salad Topper Smart Life

  • ¼ cup water

Mixed Seeds Bars:

  • ½ cup rolled oats, toasted

  • 1/3 cup Salad Topper, Smart Life

  • 2 tablespoons dried cherries, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

    Variations:

    Different dried fruits, chocolate chips. or chopped nuts

Instructions:

  1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Mixed seeds paste: Place 1 cup salad topper and ¼ cup water in a blender and mix at high speed until smooth consistency. Stop the blender and scrape the paste mixture to the center of the blender for easier mixing when needed.

  3. Toast the rolled oats on the stove in a frying pan until lightly brown

  4. Place the toasted rolled oats in a food processor and chop into small pieces

  5. Combine the seeds paste, chopped rolled oats, 1/3 cup Salad Topper, dried cherries, honey and cinnamon in a bowl and mix well 

  6. Press the mixture in a parchment paper lined 9x7 inch baking dish

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes

  8. Let cool for 10 minutes then cut into 6 pieces and serve
