OVEN FRIED POPCORN SHRIMPS


 
 

Prep Time: 25 min // Cook Time: 5 min// Total: 30 min // Serving: 3



 

Ingredients:

  • 5 Jumbo size shrimps

  • ½ cup quinoa crisps

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste (optional)

  • ¼ cup flour

  • 1 egg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees

  2. Place a baking sheet in the oven while the oven preheats

  3. Peel, devein and cut each shrimp into 3 small pieces (total 15 small pieces of shrimps)

  4. Mix Dijon mustard, onion powder and garlic powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl

  5. Coat the shrimp pieces with the Dijon mustard mixture

  6. Set up a breading station: place flour, egg wash and crispy quinoa in three separate bowls

  7. Coat each shrimp piece with flour

  8. Dip the shrimps into the egg wash and drain the excess

  9. Coat each shrimp with crispy quinoa (firmly)

  10. Take the baking sheet out of the oven and spray with oil spray

  11. Place the shrimps on the baking sheet and spray the shrimps with oil spray

  12. Bake for 3 minutes then flip the shrimps and bake for another 2 minutes

  13. Serve immediately
