spaghetti Spicy Garlic Noodles

This recipe is inspired by the Asian dish called garlic noodles that is popular at many Asian restaurants. The advantage of this recipe is that you can simply use spaghetti pasta instead of specialty noodles to create thisndish. This garlic noodles taste buttery, nutty and delicious.

Skip the red pepper flakes if spiciness is not what you prefer.

By the way, this garlic butter sauce is so delicious and versatile, it is not only good for noodles. You can also use the sauce for vegetables, fish or meat dishes. Oh yes, the sauce is also perfect for making chicken wings!


 

Ingredients:

  • ½ lb spaghetti pasta

  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions:

1.     Cook pasta according to the instructions

2.     While pasta is cooking, make the garlic brown butter sauce:

a.     Melt the butter on medium high heat until it turns light brown

b.     Add chopped garlic and stir frequently until the butter turns medium brown

3.     Mix the cooked pasta with the garlic brown butter sauce

4.     Add red pepper flakes and kosher salt before serving
