Did you know wonton wrappers are more than just for making wontons? Wonton wrappers are actually incredibly versatile, and they are perfect for making delicious appetizers or snack like my oven-fried spinach ravioli. They are crispy, delicious and the recipe takes less than 30 minutes. The recipe is versatile too. You can customize the flavors, ingredients, and spices to suit your taste buds. There are many types of wonton wrappers on the market. While any type of wonton wrappers can work, I enjoy the texture and crunchiness from the thin wrappers. It is easy to assemble the ravioli. Simply press the wrappers tightly around the filling then seal the four corners with water. This will ensure the spinach filling will stay in the center. To achieve the golden-brown color and crispy texture, spray a baking sheet with oil before arranging the ravioli and give a final spritz onto the top of the wonton before baking. Serve them with marinara or other dipping sauces. Whether you serve them as a party appetizer or any time snack, everyone will ask for more.
