No one can deny the convenience of using premade dough. After sharing my recipes on using tub pizza dough, I was hooked on experimenting with premade pizza dough recipes. During the process, I discovered that I like Trader Joe’s Plain pizza dough a lot. So, in this article, I am sharing some of my favorite recipes that I created using Trader Joe’s plain pizza dough

My French bread garlic bread often gets many compliments every time I make it. So, I thought why not use my recipe with the premade pizza dough. I am happy to say that my garlic bread pizza is just as good as my French bread version. With only 4 ingredients, the pizza is soft and chewy and take less than 30 minutes to make after bringing the dough to room temperature. This garlic bread pizza is not only great to go with a typical pasta meal, it is also a great snack.

Many people like to eat homemade pretzels. In the past, I shied away from trying to make them at home because the sound of using a baking soda bath to make pretzels was intimidating to me. If that’s your reason too, then try this everything bagel pretzel recipe. First of all, it is delicious. The best part is that no baking soda bath is required. The recipe is so easy and not intimidating at all. You only need a total of 3 ingredients to make these delicious pretzels. The recipe calls for Everything Bagel Seasoning, but if you are not a fan of everything bagel flavor, combine the types of seasonings you like instead. Combining the seasonings into the raw dough and brushing oil and seasoning before and after baking are the main reasons these pretzels come out so delicious. Also, these pretzels make a great appetizer if you make some dipping sauces to go with them.

We know pizza dough is great for baking, but did you know that you can also steam it? Don’t believe me? Then try my Asian vegetarian steamed buns. Cut the pizza dough into small pieces and roll it into a round shape. The recipe is versatile and you can modify it to your taste. Even though I used tofu as the protein source for these steamed buns, you can use ground pork instead. Since the pizza dough is stretchy, you can actually stuff the buns with more filling than when you make won tons or dumplings. Serve them as an appetizer, snack or side dish. They make for a great meal or you can eat them with a bowl of your favorite Asian soup.

Let me know which type of pizza dough you like to use, and what recipes you try.

 Happy eating!
